Medic Dongle
An ESP32-S3 medical data dongle that acts as a virtual USB flash drive, automatically transferring examination files from medical devices to a server over WiFi.
Medic Dongle is a purpose-built medical IoT device that bridges the gap between standalone medical equipment and hospital information systems. Built around the ESP32-S3 with an SDCard module, the dongle presents itself to medical devices as an ordinary USB flash drive — while silently and automatically forwarding every examination file to a central server over WiFi.

Overview
Many medical devices (ECG machines, patient monitors, analyzers) can only export their examination results to a USB flash drive, forcing staff to manually collect, carry, and upload files to a server. Medic Dongle eliminates that manual chain entirely: the medical device "sees" a standard USB Mass Storage drive and writes files to it as usual, while the ESP32-S3 firmware detects new files, stores them on internal storage or SDCard, and pushes them to an FTP server automatically over the WiFi network — ready to be consumed by a monitoring dashboard.

Key Features
- Virtual USB Flash Drive: Implements USB Mass Storage so medical devices recognize the dongle as a standard flash drive — no drivers or device-side changes required.
- Automatic File Capture: Examination result files written by the medical device are automatically saved to internal storage / SDCard.
- Automatic FTP Upload: Stored files are transferred to the server over WiFi without human intervention, reducing manual data handling.
- OTA Firmware Updates: Firmware can be updated remotely via cloud storage, keeping deployed units current without physical access.
- Storage Management: Automated storage handling and data delivery pipeline keep the device running unattended.
- End-to-End Data Flow: Medical Device → ESP32-S3 (USB MSC) → Internal Storage / SDCard → FTP Transfer → Server → Monitoring Dashboard, supporting more efficient medical data digitalization and integration.
